I think I have a 30 kg bag. And damn is it hard at the bottom. My dad was very nice and put it up higher. Before I was hitting really low. But now its up higher and has the straps tied in knots to make it higher. 1) Damn is it hard when you hit the bottom!! 2) Who else here when they hit the bag things that their power is not good

At the gym, the bag I think is 100 lbs. That I feel most comfortalbe on. Not too light and not too heavy. Only on the occasional times when I go hard and it swings a lot.

At home, I got a small 50 lb. which I barely use since it swings too much.

I think I would be best on a 150 lb. bag.

Who else here when they hit the bag things that their power is not good


when i got my first heavybag it was 100lb and it seemed pretty heavy to me but i learned the proper technique and the more i hit it the harder i hit and the more it started moving i got a new bag thats 200lb which i move more than my first bag when i got that one

just make sure your hitting it correctly and the more you do it the harder you will hit

I got a 100 pound heavy bag in the basement but I can only hit it below the half way point or else things will fall down on the main floor. The bottom of the bag is rediculously solid and it's soft on the top, and 1 of my punches sends the bag swinging and they sound pretty loud too, my power has gone thru the roof because im really turning my body into them very well and also flowing well, and my punches are still fast so I feel powerful when i hit the bag.

I have a kostya tszyu bag as a birthday gift since I wanted to start boxing. I havent till one month ago started using it cus I didn't start till one month ago for other sport commitments. I didn't know much about boxing at that time so thats why I got it. mine is much softer at the top than at the bottom too. my bag has its top about an inch or 2 above my head, should I move it higher? Also mine swings a lot, Im not sure how much it weighs so if someone knows could they tell me?

10 being a one hitter quitter
id say im like a 6
just plain normal
but good timing and nice technique

well Im acctuly not sure, no one told me about the bag when I got it so maybe not, Im going to make it a bit higher soon
