Erbad 07-11-2006, 10:12 PM Well you could atleast train them anyway. I would, but I wouldn't throw them out there for a while. moy22487 07-11-2006, 10:15 PM im thinking ill start the mental work now and keep them in good shape Erbad 07-11-2006, 10:17 PM im thinking ill start the mental work now and keep them in good shape Exactly... LightsOut Le 07-12-2006, 01:50 AM you shouldnt force it on them, try having them pick it up themselves usually people, when they get things forced on them, tend to drop out of it or lose the excitement they have for it... Thats a good point, unless theyre really mature j 07-12-2006, 09:19 PM i personally wouldn't even try to train a person under the age of 12 or so. maybe if a kid was 10 or 11, i would start to introduce a few things about self defence. however, it would mostly be structured games that relate to boxing or fighting. ideally, i think it's alright to start sparring or sparring exercises in the early to mid teens. myself though, i started full contact sparring when i was 10 or 11. vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
