I plan on getting a couple of things for my birthday and i'm a little bit confused on which thing I should get between these two things..
Ringside Pro Shadow Boxer (http://www.ringside.com/DETAIL.ASPX?ID=25260)
OR
Everlast Shadow Boxer (http://store.everlastboxing.com/everlast-pro-shadow-boxer.html)

Also are these good items to buy? I plan on being able to train at home on off days at the gym..
Top Contender Gym Stand (http://www.ringside.com/DETAIL.ASPX?ID=24677)

Everlast Sit Up Bar (http://store.everlastboxing.com/everlast-sit-up-bar.html)

Everlast Wrist/Forearm Builder (http://store.everlastboxing.com/everlast-wrist-strengthener.html)
and
Ringside Fast Feet (http://www.ringside.com/DETAIL.ASPX?ID=24689)

Are the items you see above not a waste of money and time? Has anyone ever tried them before??what the hell is this though??

I don't like those shadow boxers for 3 reasons:

1. I got one from Ringside and it was WAY too small, i don't even think there was an option for size on the electronic ordering form.

2. You can buy some similar rubber bands from walmart for like less than 20 bux, no harness and you might need a pillar or something to take up the slack, but still good.

3. I think they get you to focus too much on your arms & shoulders, getting you to throw arm punches; coz power punches come from your feet, transferring your weight, and getting torque from your hips.

Oh yah, i have some "fast feet" too and used to use 'em a lot but dun really know what good they did, guess they strengthen your hip flexors.

For your money your better off getting a weight vest.

What do you think of the rest of the products? I really think the stand is a good deal, but I hope it isn't a cheap peice of shit.

i'd say get a heavy bag and hang it like you normally would and a speed bag and mount it on a concrete walll

i think the ones that come with the stands are usually very loose and vibrate alot

just dirll a hook on the wall and hang your heavy bag

take down your heavy bag
put a double end bag up and put a weight on the ruber cord to keep it tied down

The gyro ball is sweet. You hold it in your hand and it spins on the inside or some shit really fast. Holding onto it helps improve your ummmmmmm, arm muscles? :P

try checking out the dyna flex official website. From what I remember, thats a good deal.

Edit: Said it relieves carpal tunnel and arthritis also.

Yeah, whatever you do, make sure you save A LOT for college. I'm not even kidding. You need to allow approximately 10% more than the anticipated budget because you'll find out that everything cost money.
