Hey Guys,

Right now I'm away in Germany studying, and my fitness has honestly just completely gone to shit to put it frankly. Mostly a combination of not working out (like at all) and not eating ENOUGH. But I'm sick of that, and I'm commited to getting my form, both boxing and physical form back. I'm 19 and now only about 135, although my 'fighting' weight is more around 150, and that was back in grade 10 or 11, so I'd imagine the in shape me will maybe be more. The last 2 years I've kinda dropped boxing and just took up competive running and track, but I'm sick of that, boxings just my heart, I shouldn't have left it.

So now the problem is what do I do to get my size back, but maybe more importantly, my FORM back. My technique has just gone to hell in a hand basket. I travel around a lot, so basically I'm limited to what you would find around a house, no gyms for me... Any help would really be appreciated, PunkDrunk, especially you if you're out there, you really seem to know what it you're talking about when it comes to training. Alright Guys, Thanks in advance,

How tall are you?`

I'd say fighting at 135 is better than fighting at 150. Why would you want to go up 15 lbs.?

I'd really discourage you from bulking 15 pounds and trying to get into fighting shape at the same time (VERY hard to do!). It could be detrimental to your boxing. Start boxing again, and if you're too skinny, training hard and eating enough will develop your muscles much better than any bulking program ever could. You might not get to 150, but you should gain a little if your underweight at the moment(hard to tell without actually SEEING your current physique).

Edit: I realize this is probably not what you wanted to hear, but I gotta tell you my honest opinion, right? :)

Haha, well wanted I wanted to hear was good advice, which made sense, so I guess it was. Ya, I didn't have any like 'bulking up' plan, more to do so naturally. The problem is, my technique is all but gone, so I'm looking for good ways to train while being 5000 miles away from a boxing gym... with no trainer. Basically, it's going to be tough, but like I said, I'm comited to doing it. I'm about 6 feet tall, with between 7-10% body fat. Thanks

what exactly is the problem? i'm not sure what the problem is, so i have to ask.

what's stopping you from shadow boxing? doing push ups, sit ups, etc?

what i gather here is that you're 6' and 135? damn, you must be a skinny guy. i'd say with your height, you might want to fight at 140 or so. whatever feels comfortable to you.

Well ya, shadowboxing, push-ups etc obviously I do, but I was wondering if anyone had any kind of other advice for training while away, more specifically, training without a gym, since I move around a lot here, I can't really commit to a gym, so I have to make due without one. Yes, 135 is pretty damn light for my height, I have a pretty small build, but like I said, the real problem has been not eating enough, aswell as not working out. But in the last 2 weeks of working out, and making the effort to eat well, I've gained about 5 more pounds, haha, hopefully mostly muscle, although the weight obviously fluctuates throughout the day, especially on the running days... ugh...
