MrSmith 07-09-2006, 08:57 PM As Manny Pacquiao was finishing up his training session, an autograph seeker came up to him, while the #3 ranked P4P fighter was taking off his handwraps. Here are pieces of the conversation...
FAN: Hi champ, how are you today?
PAC: I'm fine and you?
FAN: Oh I'm excited just to be here, surrounded by all these
elite fighters.
FAN: I was wondering if I could just take some pictures w/ you,
so I can show it to my kids back home.
PAC: Oh sure, no problem. Anytime, anywhere. I fight, I take
pictures, I don't mind doing it for my fans. So
how would you like me to pose? W/ my arms around your
back or should I strike a pose just like the one
when I knocked out Morales, or was it Barrera. I don't
know, I can't remember. There's been so many of 'em.
(the whole gym erupts in laughter. After the picture
taking was done, PAC and fan continue their conversation)
PAC: So what are you doing this weekend?
FAN: Oh, I'm just going out shooting.
PAC: Oh, where do you go hunting?
FAN: Oh no, I'm just going out in my backyard to shoot some
cans.(fan is laughing for the misunderstanding)
PAC: Well, I shoot cans too!
FAN: You do !? (the fan was surprised and happy that he and
his idol have a similar liking for the same
hobby)
PAC: Oh yeah,
you bet I shoot cans... Ya know MexiCANS, AfriCANS...
(The entire gym erupts
w/ laughter at PAC's "Andrew Dice Clay-esque" humor)
* Obviously this wasn't an actual conversation that took place
between Manny Pacquiao and fan. It is only intended to get a
laugh out of you PACheads.
