I sparred for my second time today and I went against the same guy from yesterday. He hit a bit harder, but was still picking out my punches.
I think I coulda been a bit better if I had a stronger and faster jab. So for the next few weeks, during heavy bag session and shadowboxing, I'm going to work on jabs the most. 70% jab 20% straight right 10% left hook.
Is working on the jab on the heavy bag and shadowboxing going to help aid in sheed and power of the punch? I know of course experience and time will help but what else can I do?
