i gave everyone from sherdog the option to carry them over. some like it while others don't.

this is simple. we're gonna have a vote for it. the vote will last 4 days, up until the end of wednesday. this way as many people can have their say.

if we end up reseting them then i'll get a hold of the ones that had theirs moved up. we'll do a rough guesstimate on what we should reset them to. that way they're not just zeroed out

I don't giva ****, but I don't understand why people want some other post count if this is another web-site and another forum. I can understand when people from sherdog wanted their post count, switching from the dark boards to the "new board", because it was still sherdog. But from what I understand Globalmma is not a continuation of SHerdog and is independent from what goes on on sherdog. But I could care less if somebody has 20000 posts.

i see whatcha mean vene. i didn't think of it that way when i gave them the option.

i just thought that a lot of people may not wanna post over here cause they would have to start all over. guess you guys kinda proved me wrong. :)

lol at somebody not wanting to post here because "they would have to start all over". That would be pretty weak. But if it makes somebody happy to 300000 posts then so be it. You know whatver floats their boat. I think if they really want it then **** it, then let them have it.

If you're going to reset the post counts, why not set everyones' back to zero? That will save time and effort, not to mention, make things much simpler for you.

BTW, I STILL don't understand why everyone insists on wanting their posts to be carried over from another forum. It makes no damn sense to me. Do the posts really mean THAT much to them? Sheesh.

I voted for I don't give a **** as long as my posts don't get reset, my posts from Sherdog didn't carry over, all of my posts are natural here on this site from day 1 and I don't want them reset.

If we reset, I say everyone to zero. Don't even worry about trying to get an accurate post count and just remove what we added to them.
