View Full Version : UFC is boring?
they need to let them use bigger gloves so the matches last longer..because UFC is very boring and always ends up being a little lame wreslting match..i think world international league (i think thats the name) where they using boxing gloves is more entertaining
HendrixLove 07-02-2006, 09:41 PM UFC is pretty lame, I have yet to see a fight of the year type fight come out of them that could top one of boxing's fight of the years. The UFC has had some decent fights but nothing to go crazy about, and it makes me wana get up and break my t.v. when I hear that fear factor ***got bring up that shit about UFC taking over boxing.......
renren40 07-02-2006, 09:48 PM i totally agree
you don't hear boxing commentators say "Wow, this is so much better than UFC"
Joe is a meathead

Probably because it's just not on their radar. They don't regard it as a threat, and likely never watch it to even compare. Boxing will never go away but MMA, whether Pride or UFC, consistently puts out a more entertaining product for most people who give it a chance.

That lame wrestling is exactly the type of thing that will get a pure boxer's ass kicked in any type of real life fighting scenario against someone who knows how to do it. MMA emerged from the desire to find out what truly represented the most effective fighting technique in real life scenarios with a few basic tactical exceptions. As useful as boxing skills are, boxing is not the answer to that question.
Southpaw Stinger 07-05-2006, 10:25 AM UFC bores the hell out of me. I can't beleive some people think that it will replace boxing.

the_fusionist 07-06-2006, 03:03 PM I think the UFC is kinda boring as well. In a night you will have 2 good fights and it wil be unrecognizable guys who put on the show. I am sick and tired of these puss's that get joked out submitted, or knocked out in less than 49 seconds. If their both top fighters, then ****ing fight, biatch!

i totaly agree im a huge mma fan but the slow wrestling matchs annoy me but its the one of the most effective ways espeicalyy against strikers.
Steelfist 07-06-2006, 08:59 PM Ufc is very, very boring. I haven't seen one good fight from it. Pride, on the other hand, is much more entertaining.
I just think that the way MMA is set up, you're not going to see as many exciting fights as you would in boxing.
the_fusionist 07-06-2006, 10:04 PM I think they should add a 10 count

Ranger2408 07-08-2006, 11:53 PM I hate it and it makes me so mad, i have seen so many bogus stoppages on that tripe, like the sylvia match a few months ago a complete joke the fat moron sat on his back, what was the pitbull sposed to do? he was fine, got a little to eager and lost his balance, in no way was he in any danger of getting koed he just had a fat glass chinned, useless, drug taking fatman on his back.
