There one of the best sources of both slow and fast digesting protein. A day, I usually eat about 8 of them. 5 at breakfast and the other 3 usually at night. speedoverpower0 06-30-2006, 07:18 PM alright, what about milk? and also do you guys heard of up and go's? Are they actully good for you like I've seen the adds and I've had a few and they say its meant to be for breakfast but I never do have it for breakfast I have it inbetween meals. I dont think it matters cus they say its for breakfast cus its good for you but mainly its a milk drink 98.5% fat free and has heaps of vitamins. Are the any good too? I know that there's a lot of cholesterol but it's the good kind that is good for your body. Plus, parts of the yolk contain the protien. The yokes do contain amino acids but i think personally the extra cholestrol isnt worth that benifit. Ur wrong eggs DO NOT act in a manor like casein. They are used as an alternative to whey to supply ur muscles with a quick boost of protein. Eggs do not clot and gel in the stomach and do not realese a steady release of amino acid which is the characteristics of casein. Casein is the principal protein of cows milk. They sell them right by the regular eggs at your local grocery store. They are a little more expensive though. |
