I cannot believe that Chuck Liddell will never fight Silva or Jackson again. Many people, despite their desire to see these matches, say that it will never happen. If any of these guys are the fighters they claim they are, I know that none of them will ever retire before these matches. Why would Tim Sylvia not want to fight Fedor? Who cares about money? How can they retire without the satisfaction of beating their international opponents?

If they ever do meet Silva would knock Liddell out. Fedor would beat Sylvia anyway he wants easily.

Sylvia won't be the champ after July 8th though because Arlovski is going to drop him again then stop him.

Sylvia would not want to fight Fedor because he would literally be murdered. Have you even seen Fedor or Sylvia fight? And if so, how can you possibly compare them or even want to see that waste of a fight. Sylvia would get exposed worse than Leben just was. He's a one-trick pony. Has a hard punch but doesn't seem to have much skill to back it up.

they can retire without the satisfaction cause they have what they needed to retire, money. it's not all about respect in this game. this is their job and livelihood. i would say that Sylvia would fight Fedor if the money were right.

also, the business logistics of such an event are horrible. there's no way either promotion would put up their top fighters in another promotion well knowing that their fighter has a chance to lose. if that fighter loses, then (depending on performance) that fighters marketability and reputation could be damaged severely or permanently and that would have an effect on the reputation of the federation they're from. it's just bad business.

Tim Sylvia is always talking about how he is the baddest man in the world. I heard something about he wanting to fight Fedor and Liddell wants to erase his losses...well lets get it on. I understand what you are saying though.
