Silva would definitely knock your man Chuck out. Silva would beat Chuck worst than Rampage Jackson did.

I think Pride is a little too rough because they allow stomps to a grounded fighter and the referees never rarely stops the fight when they should; once a guy is out that should be the end but in Pride they give the fighter a few more shots at the guy. On top of all that you have guys pulling at the ropes to take it out of the fighters reach and you have these bad ass fighters who crawl to the middle of the ring when they are caught up at the corners or side of the ring, which is hilarious. All of this adds up to mixed feelings when you also factor that PrideFC takes place in such a huge arena and the crowd is silent thoughout.

I don't think there is any way to defend against what Vitor did to Silva because once your caught that is the end. It was the first time a fighter has ever done something like that so I think Wanderlai was surprised.

Chuck went to Pride, got TKO'ed by Ramapage. But he KO'ed Overeem and Mezger. Ricco went to Pride and fought Big Nog. IF you watch that fight, you'll see that Ricco dominated him, but lost the decision. Gan MahGee has fought in Pride. Vitor has gone.

So there have been UFC fighters that have had "the balls" to go. It's just you were ignorant to that fact and wanted to flap your gums like you knew thay hadn't

fact is ufc and pride have different rules and different setting(ring, cage). and because of that their styles are different because they have to adapt to it. so if anything i dont think one is better then the other. fighters are fighters, if chuck is good in the ufc chuck is a good fighter. if vanderlei is a good fighter in pride, he is a good fighter. thats just the fact. as far as them going to one or the other, some of the fighters contracts dont permit them to fight in another organization during their contract with who theyre with. im sure dana white wanted to see how chuck would do in pride because he was there during his fights, so it probably has a lot to do with dana's call on it also.

Pride fighters fight at a more intense pace and throw much more blows than any UFC fighter.

I don't recall Silva being knocked out by the cage. I think it was Belfort's fists that did the trick. Pretty sure Ortiz takes the credit for kicking his ass as well.
