receptions = 0.5pts or 1 pt

Just a suggestion. This format is easy to follow, makes the league interesting, and avoids ties.

I've never been a fan of drafting defensive players personally. I've always prefered simple 1 defense slot for team. But I'll do whatever the majority does.

Also, while I've never done it I've wanted to auction draft for a while, rather than traditional snake draft. I'm not sure the logistics of doing an auction league online though.

My team was awful last year. I had a horrid pick and couldn't really draft any of my favorite guys. Injuries to Dillon and Jamal Lewis' aful play killed me.

I'd really like to stress that setup outline I suggested. It makes a lot of sense scoring wise and the positions make the draft more fun (having an individual defense is better than a team D)

I originally had a individual defence. I like when your defence has scoring capabilities. We'll take a vote, I'll break the tie.

I personally just like having my favorite players on my teams...since half of my favorite players in the NFL play defense I enjoy that aspect more.

Having guys like Joey Porter, Ed Reed, Cato June, Ty Law, Mike Peterson, etc...

You can know all the football you want, I'm telling you now, I have played FFL evey year with yahoo and picking D players and O players is a major pain in the ass, and trying to keep up with it all is even worse. But do what ever yall want I'm just trying to save yall from a lot of frustration.

My problem with picking D has always been that there's usually not as many top tier players to go around. I remember... I think 2-3 years ago Ray Lewis had a ****ing ridiculous year and his points were the most scoring out of offensive and defensive players... and only a few other defensive players were even close to his realm.

Picking team D is much easier and a little more even.

It's this simple, if you like football, follow it, and know anything about the league then picking defensive players will be NOTHING. Badblood is trying to make it sound like some complex deal for no reason. Listen to el gringo loco here. Individual defense is easy, makes your draft strategy more interesting, and makes it so your D can pick you up in weeks where you get poor offense.

In a team defense situation....there are about 4-5 really good defensive teams (in terms of fantasy football) and the rest are mediocre at best or suck. Maybe they'll put up a couple of nice weeks here and there. With individual defense, there are so many players that EVERYONE stands a chance to have a good week.

For example, if you have the Bills team D and they play the Colts/Steelers/Bengals/Rams/etc you are going to get a bad outcome most likely because those teams put up major points. But if you have the individual D, even if the team gets scored on....a guy like Takeo ****es could get 10 solo tackles and he'd turn in a good week for you. Individual performance is more fun....otherwise you'd just pick gay team offenses too. :D

...IMO the less effort and less complex the better. I'm just not interested enough in Nascar to stick with that whole deal. The NFL is a different story and those pools always keep my interest. So just to be clear, there are no points per passing yards (I personally like the 25 yards per point passing myself)

Also in a lot of leagues I've played in you can get extra points for long running or receiving td.

Just some food for thought. I don't care as long as I know the exact scoring system before the draft because that makes a big difference in who I select.

that would make QB's too powerful. it would make a qb that passed for 350 yards and 4 interceptions have a good week, when in fact they had a shit ass week.

...They are actually pre-ranked for you so I assume that it will just kick in automatically. I definitely don't see an option for telling it do do an auto draft.

Your team isn't spectacular but nobody's is. Your team isn't explosive that a couple of players are going to put up huge numbers but almost everybody on your team can contribute to helping you win each week. I like Fix's team too.

Hah, the difference is many of those players would be picked in the 3-7 rounds... not the 17th round.... like me being 8th on the waviers list that means I get a player that most likely wont start on my team... while anybody in a better spot will get somebody like Dillon, Bush, Plummer, Jackson, etc.

Hah, the difference is many of those players would be picked in the 3-7 rounds... not the 17th round.... like me being 8th on the waviers list that means I get a player that most likely wont start on my team... while anybody in a better spot will get somebody like Dillon, Bush, Plummer, Jackson, etc.

I think if you just leave 2nd II None's team locked up like that and give him no starters... just a free win to each and all of us that'd be fine actually. Everybody gets a free win and the free agent pool doesn't get messed up.

No waiver additions go through until sept. 6th. By then everyone will be able to set their waiver priorities.

Anything you can do to the players he all ready added to the FA pool? None of em' are huge, impact players but soem of em' can definately give an advantage to whoever picks em' up from an early waiver spot.

Actually it still is not fair to the people who play Chuck Norris twice. They get 2 free wins.

I strongly recommend we scrap this league and redo the draft with somebody else taking the 12th spot.

btw, there is no mention of a draft time anywhere on the first page or the second page.What i'm supposed to look through 20 pages to find a draft time? this league was horribly ran face it.
