In my other league I had McNabb, Kevin Jones, Brett Favre and Marcus Colston....all of them got hurt. Hines Ward too (even though his injury occured at the end of the game and it was minor). I'm still going to beat the guy if Plaxico Burress puts up more than 3 points (which should be cake).

I'm now in first place in all 3 of my big leagues...boxingscene, my buddies league, and my cash league with my best friend (we are winning our division slightly). If we win that cash league we are going to BANK...well over 2000 dollars in the pot at this point.

With Gomez taking the tough loss this week, there is one last team that I figure could still make the postseason. The executioners moved up to 6-5 with the win this week, only 1 game out of a playoff spot (plus tiebreaker). Sonny just dropped this week to Raesaad in a close one, with pegs him at 7-4. Executioners has a MUST WIN week at Buckskinz if he wants to pull this comeback off to knock out Sonny in my estimation.

Sonny has 2 pretty dangerous matchups in his final two weeks. I can see him either going 2-2 or 3-1 on the season...finishing either 9-6 or 10-5. Executioners has the big match with Bucks, but after that I can see him winning all 3 of those games. I can see him finishing out 4-0 to finish 10-5 or 3-1 to finish 9-6. Sonny puts up big points usually so I don't think Executioners can afford the tiebreaker. Should be interesting...I think we probably have our final 4 already, but crazy things could happen.

The way I see that one is that Chad Johnson put up points for 3 players on your team. Add up Portis' numbers, Jones' numbers (the two guys who did less than stellar that week on your squad), and Chads numbers you get something like 44 points. That's like saying both backs got you 100 yards rushing and a TD (16 points a pop) and Chad got ya a respectable 60 and a TD (12 points). He got you more points than my 4 wide receivers (who are good) and my defense COMBINED!

Anyway, that's just me patting myself on the back and rationalizing. Close matchup, I thought you beat the crap outta me. I just checked it out and yahoo subtracted a point from you that week!

Trust me I know the feeling. One time I had 2 starting WR's that were good to go and right before the game they were all of a sudden too injured to play. Shit like that has been happening to me all year.
