View Full Version : What do you drink?

Here's an oldie.

Before you order a drink in public, you should read this!
Seven New York City bartenders were asked if they could nail a woman's
personality based on what she drinks. Though interviewed separately,
they concurred on almost all counts.

The results:

Drink: Beer
Personality:Casual, low-maintenance; down to earth.
Your Approach: Challenge her to a game of pool.

Drink: Blender Drinks
Personality: Flaky, whiny, annoying; a pain in the ass.
Your Approach: Avoid her, unless you want to be her cabana boy.

Drink: Mixed Drinks
Personality: Older, more refined, high maintenance, has very picky
taste; knows EXACTLY what she wants.
Your Approach: You won't have to approach her. If she's interested,
she'll send YOU a drink....

Drink: Wine (does not include White Zinfandel)
Personality:Conservative and classy; sophisticated, yet giggles.
Your Approach: Tell her you love to travel and spend quiet evenings with friends.

Drink: White Zinfandel
Personality: Easy; thinks she is classy and sophisticated, actually, she has no clue.
Your Approach: Make her feel smarter than she is...this should be an easy target.

Drink: Shots
Personality:Likes to hang with frat-boy pals and looking to get totally drunk... and naked.
Your Approach:Easiest hit in the joint. You have been blessed. Nothing
to do but wait. However, be careful not to make her mad!

Drink: Tequila
No explanations required - everyone just KNOWS what happens there.

THEN, there is the MALE addendum
The deal with guys is, as always, very simple and clear cut:

Domestic Beer: He's poor and wants to get laid.

Imported Beer: He likes good beer and wants to get laid.

Wine: He is hoping that the wine will give him a sophisticated image to
help him get laid.

Whiskey: He doesn't give a damn about anything but getting laid.

Tequila: He is thinking he has a chance with the toothless waitress.

White Zinfandel: He's gay.

I drink imported beer and sometimes Vodka. But if i'm drinking Vodka I'm not thinking about getting laid, I'm thinking about a soft place to lay my head when the room starts spinning.

Good stuff Holmes. When I was in college I would hang out by the keg and whichever woman filled up the most was my target. :D

Anymore when out on the town. I stick to Canadian Club and Seven Up. Or the occasional screwdriver. With beer I end up drinking entirely too many. So your always pissing and the hangover sucks.

I am a Crown Royal and Coke man. I hate beer. Crown and Red Bull is good and Absolute Mandrin and Sobe Adrenalin Rush is good as well.

yea, that's what they say, but considering i already lost one baby, i'm not taking any chances.
i don't drink alcohol or caffeine or take any drugs (prescription or over-the-counter).
better safe than sorry, i guess.

I'm mostly just a beer man. I prefer "Arrogant Bastard Ale"; but also like Moosehead and Heinikein (SP)....will drink domestics, depending upon my mood or availability.

Wine every now and then is okay; but mixing it with beer in the same night is asking for the ****s and a helluva hangover.

Love Margaritas! :alucard: ;but generally won't toch te-kill-ya. :D Hurricanes are great and a Pina Colada ever now and then hit's the spot....especially if you're on the beach.

Whiskey brings out my Irish....not good. Most of the time I'm a happy drunk; but whiskey, for some reason, really brings out some of my not so nice traits.

Vodka...can't do Vodka anymore; it gets me in trouble. Last time I messed with Vodka was at a Halloween party several years ago and I ended up making out with some dude's wife. My "friends" intervened before it went too far though. LOL!!! Just as well, she left him a few weeks later anyway. So, I was kind of doing him a favor.

Anyway...that's pretty much it.

Do you have a history of high risk pregnancies?
not high risks, but with my son i was put on bed rest during the last trimester, but everything ended up being ok.
then i got pregnant in october and miscarried in december without any real reason. then i got pregnant in january with this baby. since it was immediately after my miscarriage i am being VERY careful without doing anything too risky. so far so good. made it to the third trimester :)

25 reasons to allow drinking at work.

1. It's an incentive to show up.

2. It reduces stress.

3. It leads to more honest communications.

4. It reduces complaints about low pay.

5. It cuts down on time off because you can work with a hangover.

6. Employees tell management what they think, not what management wants to hear.

7. It helps save on heating costs in the winter.

8. It encourages carpooling.

9. Increase job satisfaction because if you have a bad job, you don't care.

10. It eliminates vacations because people would rather come to work.

11. It makes fellow employees look better.

12. It makes the cafeteria food taste better.

13. Bosses are more likely to hand out raises when they are wasted.

14. Salary negotiations are a lot more profitable.

15. Suddenly, burping during a meeting isn't so embarrassing.

16. Employees work later since there's no longer a need to relax at the bar.

17. It makes everyone more open with their ideas.

18. Everyone agrees the work is better after they've had a couple of
Drinks.

19. Eliminates the need for employees to get drunk on their lunch break.

20. Increases the chance of seeing your boss naked.

21. It promotes foreign relations with the former Soviet Union.

22. The janitor's closet will finally have a use.

23. Employees no longer need coffee to sober up.

24. Sitting on the copy machine will no longer be seen as "gross".

25. Babbling and mumbling incoherently will be common language

I don't read too much into personality bein defined by what somebody drinks. Unless of course it's a man drinkin alcopops or some ****.

I drink a bit of everything. I'm a yak man at heart. Hennessy VSOP is my poison. But I **** wit whiskey, Scotch, vodka, the whole 9.

I'm down for mixed drinks too, but I prefer mixin my own. Bar always ****s em up and overcharges at that. And other cats mix it to they preference which is almost never the same as mine. Can't have that **** so sweet it ****s my stomach up. I luv Long Island iced tea, and Washington apples are anotha favorite of mine.

Bein a cheapass n all, my most bought beers are 211, Natty Lite, and this new earthquake **** at the gas station. But I luv Labatt Blue, Heineken, Molson XXX, and a bunch of other **** too. Just can't go hard on the thick **** no more. Makes me sick.

I am a craft beer drinker, soon to be home brewer. I drink every type of beer you can think of. I always enjoy going to Specs and picking a variety of random beers to see if I could find my taste.. I enjoy stouts and porters, but as of late have been drinking IPA's. Sierra Nevada is a good brand and holds one of my favorite beers. Drink on my friends..
