Attention Deficit Disorder. It shouldn't hurt you that much anyway, it should make you pay attention :p

I'd assume that something for ADD would effect you boxing-wise. But the only prescriptions I ever took were antibiotics so I don't really know well.

Find out what it is first.

If it's welbutrin, you may wanna skip it- everyone i've ever talked to said that it did jack for their ADD and just made them put on weight.

If it's ritalin, just beware- the stuff works like cocaine, can be addictive, can cause depression if you try to quit, can give you a bad drug test, and is generally not good stuff. I was on the stuff from the ages of 6 to 18. Blew up about 100 pounds when I got off it, got back on it at 23 briefly and dropped 30 pounds the first month. I believe my metabolism is permanently messed up from this stuff.

I have no personal experience with Aderol- only heard two conficting stories, one friend said everything cleared up immediately, the other said it was pretty severe stuff.

I'm no doctor, so take my advice with a grain of salt; but there's tons of info on the net, and it's always a good idea to get a second doctor's opinion.

y did u take vicodin? was it an injury? i hurt my back and the doc prescribed it but im tryin to stay away from it..

Speaking from experience, around the age of 14 or so the brain's chemical response to Ritalin changes. As you get older it's more like speed or cocaine; chemically it acts almost exactly like cocaine. One of my good friends in college was overdosing on it to get high, using it like speed. She eventually had to take some time off from school to go into a hospital, was lucky she didn't have any heart problems.

i've taken some, it never seemed to effect me at all that i can recall

i take sleeping pills. addicted to em!!!!
