Yeah, Don King knows it, too. That's why Meehan got a consolation prize in being on the Ruiz & Byrd PPV card in November.

Gift is too innocent a word. All 3 judges gave round 12 to Lamon to seal the deal. The 12th was very clearly Meehan's round.

The fight was clearly fixed.

It's pretty bad when you have to fix the rankings to get a sparring partner a title fight...

and then fix the fight so that the champion wins...

Yeah that's a nice double fix they have going there. A shot Rahman should still walk through Meehan with ease. That is just as long as the fight isn't fixed.

They may need a Rahman win to keep Meehan's name in the mix. I wouldn't be shocked to see Kali Meehan SD 10.

Rahman would still bounce back. King would just give him another shot at Ruiz or maybe Brewster.

The saddest thing about Brewster is that he has heart, but no talent to go with it.

Hahaha man that would smell way to foul if that happened. King just might try to pull it off though.

The fix in Mosley-DLH II and DLH-Sturm was out of a bad WWE storyline too, but it was pulled off quite nicely and everyone came out smelling like a rose, even Sturm,if the Jan fight with Hopkins happens, though Arum had nothing to do with Felix's luck

Well at least things always seem to even out for DLH.

Nov 13

It's Holyfield vs. Larry Donald
and Meehan vs. Hasim Rahman

Brewster's mandatory is Lance Whitaker. Holyfield will have to wait for a WBO shot.

On Page 1 we were speculating on who King would have win this one.

No fix in, I think Rahman wins a decision.

You think Meehan was robbed - see if you can catch a replay of Rico Hoye vs. Montell Griffin. The old man got screwed badly.

Well he did SD Barrett and KO Maskaev, but then again he has lost to Savarese, McCline, and he had a draw with Ray Austin. He's basically built his ranking up recently by beating tomato cans.

Wow Whitaker was at the post fight press conference and he was making a scene by yelling that this was supposed to be his fight with Klitschko and not TOS's.

indeed. I think i could take whitaker. i would have to throw on about 25 pounds. however, i could probably do it. this guy is just not good. he should fight kirk johnson, see who can break the scale....

We're talking about a guy who literally had his legal name changed to 'Goofi' prior to the McCline fight.

so you feel that dlh won the 2nd battle?

I thought De La Hoya did beat Mosley, but it was more important for Bob Arum to keep Mosley's career afloat at that point. DLH's career could take the loss better.

I think Brewster was drugged! What else could explain his lack of combination punching? ;)

He grabbed the wrong water bottle left over from the Wlad fight!
