View Full Version : bin bag as a sweat suit gcropper 06-18-2006, 08:30 AM i dot hava a suit and i need to lose wieght quick my mate said us a bin bag anyone no how good this really is EXIGE 06-18-2006, 08:44 AM i dot hava a suit and i need to lose wieght quick my mate said us a bin bag anyone no how good this really is I have done it before, and wouldnt recommend it unless your fitness levels are good. It drains the **** out of you, and even fairly short runs can make your t-shirt look like you just stepped out of the shower or something. It basically just makes you sweat more and also restricts your air-flow moreso than normal. After about 20 minutes of running it will feel like someone is pushing against your chest with a fair bit of force, and that prohibits you from breathing properly. However, if you need to lose water weight quickly then do it, but just be aware that it can be slightly dangerous. gcropper 06-18-2006, 10:03 AM cheerz i was only run a mile jus to see what it is like PunchDrunk 06-18-2006, 05:22 PM I have done it before, and wouldnt recommend it unless your fitness levels are good. NJFighter91 06-18-2006, 07:09 PM It's those suits that make you sweat like crazy right? I've ran in those once, and they really kill you. Like EXIGE said, make sure your fitness levels are VERY good. If not, just a brisk walk is good. Zigga 06-18-2006, 08:43 PM Sweat suits will not burn fat at all, they are used for taking water out of ur system if u need to cut weight. A lot of fighters get this wrong. U do not need to cut weight unless u are fighting, u should not cut weight and dehydrate yourself when training normally bad idea, u will recover slower and it is not especially bad for u but it aint good for u either. You will sweat multiple times as much in a bag than a regualr sweat suit. Rockin' :boxing: PunchDrunk 06-19-2006, 05:51 AM There certainly is a difference between the two. Rockin' :boxing: http://store.titleboxing.com/titleboxing-everlast-vinyl-pvc-sauna-suit.html My experience with these and bags, is that it's the same thing. They do the same; prevent heat and moisture from escaping. I don't know what kind of sweat suits you've used? |
