What will they weigh - in the ring?

This is the first time we're doing this, so we're just kind of taking a shot with it. But we're putting up a pointspread on the weight difference between Jermain Taylor and Winky Wright when the two weigh in on the HBO scales right before they step into the ring.

THE CHARLES JAY LINE
Jermain Taylor -4.5 lbs. +100 (even money)
Winky Wright +4.5 lbs. +100 (even money)

By the way, if the fighters do not both weigh in for HBO, this prop will be abandoned.

NOTE: As has been pointed out already, the vBookie script will not pay out more than 2 billion. So please coordinate your bets accordingly.

How do people not understand spreads?

This is basic gambling terms to say the least...

If you bet money on Taylor, he is -4.5 pounds. That means whatever his weight in the ring is, you subtract 4.5 pounds from it and if he's still heavier you win.

Betting on Winky means adding 4.5 to his weight and if he's heavier, then you win.
