Actually, Hughes won BECAUSE of BJJ (and wrestling).
He totally outclassed Royce in that department.

As for Chuck's case. It's different.
He's not facing prime/TOP competition. But it's not his fault cause the majority of the top LHW fighters are in Pride fc.
what's left for sure are Sobral & Ortiz. And He already defeated them both. That's how bad the situation is in ufc's LHW division.
Dana White can't snd Liddell in Pride cause It's too risky for UFC's reputation and credibility.

You need to be a well rounded fighter to win these days.

The only BJJ I seen from Matt was that straight armbar, other than that it was a wrestling clinic. Enadues is right though, you got to know everything now days, Chuck is a Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsu...
