Since Big & Pac died at an early age we probably did not see the best of them. If Big & Pac were still alive right now what do you think their music would be like as of now and do you think Nas & Jay-Z would of been the big stars they are right now (Because right now they are the most respected). Would 2Pac of sonned Jay or would Jay of lived in Big's shadow all these ears? Tell me what you think!

No way would Jay Z,Nas or G-unit or any of that be as big as they are IMO.I mean they would get their due but BIG and Pac are like Kings......and I think BIG would still be making Hot records but pac would have probably pursued his acting career more at this point.

I think that Pac would of sonned Jay by now and possibly Nas would of put out better **** in the I Am...-Nastradamus era b/c he would of had some competition.

I think Big would have peaked had he not died, and then would have ended up with around 5 individual albums at least (ie no remixes like the **** that has been produced of late).

Pac would have created 1 or 2 nice albums alive/dead, as he did... and then like Raesaad said gone into acting moreso... and ****ed Janet Jackson after she rejected him... :lol1:

Also I dont think Gay-Unit would exist, because they would have been dissed. Eminem would have been an understudy for Pac, because no matter what race, Pac gave his dues to those who he thought deserved it, and I think he would have liked Eminem's old style.

I think if BIG didnt die he would of kept putting stuff out but people would of got bored of him. He would eventually of slipped off into obscurity and eaten his way through severe depression, spending all his vast wealth on aquiring a branch of burger king that was frequented by James Toney. Eventually he would of declared himself bankrupt and to earn a few pennies (or cents as you American ****ers say) he would of hired himself out to childrens parties as a human bouncy castle. The kids would of loved him for it and had endless hours of fun jumping up and down on his humongous belly, which would of given BIG a sense of fulfillment as he put his gangsta rapping days behind him.

Tupac would of quit rapping and concentrated on his acting career, in which he would of been immensely successful. So successful in fact that a lot of the films that are so famous now would of been completely different. He would of got the leading role in Titanic instead of Leo Di Caprio, redifined the blair witch project by taking the part of the witch, got the role of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films and stole every scene he was in...and finally took the part of Gollum in Lord of the Rings and won a well deserved Oscar for the role.

I think Tupac would have either calmed down and gone the Ice Cube route with films, business, and some rap - or he would have gotten even crazier and wound up locked up or killed in some other fashion.

Notorious BIG put out one of the, if not the, best rap album of all time in Ready to Die, put out an album in desperate need of editing a la Wu Tang Forever in Life After Death, and then his two posthumous albums were even more Puff Daddy dance tapes than LAD. Hopefully he wouldn't have gone that route - maybe after Life After Death he would have gotten used to being a household name and the spotlight and eventually returned to record another classic.

hard to say. if Pac stopped wildin out, he prolly would've focused on more business like acting or maybe even a record label. i would've liked to see him make up with Dre tho. Cali love and all. i still say Suge was his undoing.

it's even harder to surmise what BIG would've done. i think that BIG would've led the way for a lot of the NY cats. i mean he was already helping Jay and the LOX. maybe he could've been a guiding force for the next generation. he prolly could've gotten out a couple of new albums then parlay his success into something bigger. at least that's what i would've hoped for.

Now that I think about it, I think that if BIG didn't die he wouldn't have the same legacy as he does now. I think that Puff would of wanted him to make more R&B songs and he would probably be making some commercial **** right now as we speak.

As for Pac, he is one of the rare breeds of MC's who gets more hungrier as he goes along. Even though All Eyez on Me sold 5 mill, he still came out with some nice ass Makaveli ****. Rap was too easy for Pac and I think he would of become more involved in some deep ass Hollywood movies, then later politics.

All in all, I still would of seen this:
Pac & Big ahead of Jay-Z and Nas.

Lawlz, Jay-Z and Nas would be nowhere near what they were today if Pac alone was alive...

i think eventually they would have all made peace, there would have been no reason for any of them to hate eachother when todays big money would have been theres for the taking.

I dont think B.I.G. was able to reach his potential, but I think we saw the best of 2pac with "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z." and "Me Against The World".

Nas was just gaining momentum when 2pac died, and I dont think 2pac would have done much damage to Nas as an artist. They'd probably throw a couple diss tracks at each other and ultimately make peace. Jay-Z on the other hand, would have been eaten alive by 2pac.

I think your overestimating 2Pac's battling. He wasn't nearly as good of a battle rapper as someone like Nas. Jay, on the other hand, had way too much material for Pac to use (Hawaiian sophie fame or w/e) and Pac would of literally destroyed Jay's career.

It's not that Pac was a good battler, we all know that's not what he intended to do. What he did was take a whole nation and turn them against a rapper just because he said so and it worked. Same **** was gonna happen to Jay-Z, but 3 days before Pac was shot he made peace with Nas so we definetly would have seen some collabos there. If Pac was alive today, I guarantee Jay-Z wouldn't be stealing his beats and putting up "Tupac Rules Forever" paintings in his music videos :D

You know its hard to say. Tupac was doing things with Suge, like starting Death Row east. He was grooming his group. I could see him just doing guest appearences on albums. He was actually starting to gain even more influence and fans, which is hard to believe. He might have taken that influence and used it for good.

Biggie, I think would have put out maybe one more album for Puff and bounced. It was rumoured by many that he was going to leave Puff. Most of Puffs artist leave after 1 or 2 albums. Biggie would probably have fallen off to be honest. Even JayZ, who is considered the top cat now doesnt have great album sales for his status.

I thought the posthumous "Still I Rise" was good and much of Makaveli...

I think Biggie would of put out a pop album if he hadn't died. His legacy definitely would of been very, very different if he didn't die. The same goes with Jay-Z. He would of been sonned by Pac and even if his career wasn't ruined, he would of lived in Big's shadow.

IMHO, Pac and Big are viewed as the GOAT by a lot of people (mostly casual fans) but if Nas had died after Illmatic and IWW he would of probably been viewed as the GOAT. Just my opinion, though.
