Matt Hughes proved that you have to be well rounded in all aspects of Martial Arts in order to be a complete fighter these days by defeating Gracie in brutal fashion. He did this by using aspects of Striking, Wrestling and Brazilian Ju Jitsu. There is another aspect that I think some are overlooking that Hughes also proved. Along with Striking, Wrestling and Brazilian Ju Jitsu one also must add the 4th ingredient....WEIGHT TRAINING.

The evolution of Martial Arts is now complete.

The 4th dimension is Time. Unless Hughes likes to map his opponents prior movements to infer their next move then I don't think the 4th dimension has any application in MMA. I do know that if you think like Neo from the matrix and apply control over the world you can do amazing things. I do both of these things all the time. It's about controlling your mind. :boxing:
