The World Cup starts in just over 2 hours!

The favourites are comfortably Brazil, with England and Argentina the other hot tips to lift the trophy come July 9th. But Italy, France, Spain, Czeck republic and the hosts Germany will all fancy their chances of victory.

Here we can discuss the games as they happen, share predictions etc.

I reckon Germany and Poland will both win their games today, but neither will make it past the quarter finals.

My tip for the tournament is Argentina, but without bias England do have a very good chance of winning; we probably have the best all round team but lack the strikers (even when Rooney is fit)

I'm all for world sports it's a shame soccer is so boring.. Maybe the fans wouldn't be as violent when the **** ended..

Hockey for example.. Has you so amped the entire game, when it's done you just wanna go home and sleep..
Soccer is so boring it makes you feel restless the entire game..
When it's finally over you have all this energy to blow and a brawl is the end result..
