I'm not necessarily talking about someone from the front row jumping into the ring or what have you, I'm talking about fights where the audience were so prominent that they entered your conscious as a consequence of watching the fight.
The inspiration for the thread? I just watched Judah-Spinks II (see downloads) and for most of the fight - including every five seconds of every round of the middle rounds - a woman consistently shouts "Come on, Coreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee". Now, I'm all for getting behind your man, but security should have put a gag on her after the first fifty times.
I also remember one of - IMO - Hopkins' more exciting fights, his whitewash against Joppy. It was distracting because whenever you tried to get into the fight you were aware that a fight was happening outside the ring too.
Perhaps the most prominent one I can recall is the "give Golota a drink on the house" debacle after his Tyson two-rounder, though wasn't there one where coins were thrown in the ring?
And, even though he's disappointed most people with his phenomenally slow progress, Olympic Gold medallist Audley Harrison has already achieved infamy with the effect he has outside the ring, if not necessarily inside it.
Did anyone in the US get to hear about him lightly baiting Herbie Hide at ringside, only for the entire proceedings to turn into a crowd riot? And his penultimate fight on the BBC was so dull that a crowd member spent much of the later rounds mooning the camera.
Anyone else remember any distracting/amusing crowd moments in boxing?
