I'll go with Lamotta by decision because I'm currently pissed off with Toney and I think Jake's a better fighter.

Lamotta, I don't really see anything great about Toney. Roy Jones made a fool of him when they fought a long time back.

Well styles make fights, and Roy was really THAT good.

Lamotta's aggressive style falls right into Toney's hands. He's too smart and skilled for Jake.

On both guys best nights I see Toney taking a close decision. James is tough enough to take anything that LaMotta could dish and he has clear advantages in handspeed and defense.

Toney was susceptible to being outworked at times...but assuming both guys are at their absolute best 160 forms I gotta go with Toney.

Now actually thinking about it I think Toney would win..I mean he seems to wait for his opponent to make the move and he'll make you pay if you don't do it right..

Jake LaMotta was a tough brawler who could give any fighter hell in his prime. I believe this would be a bad match up for him though, as James Toney was the better boxer. Further, LaMottas power would not stop the iron chinned Toney, and Toney was faster.

I see Toney countering a constant attacking LaMotta to get the decision.

whoever voted for lammota ko is a dumbass. lammotta is tailor made for toney because he wants to brawl. if youve seen any toney fights like that he picks you apart one round at a time. toney would win a wide decision.
