What do you prefer? The old snoop dogg of Doggystyle or the new Dogg R and g

i expect to be in the minority here, but i prefer his new style over the last couple of albums

Snoop has become only a parody of himself in recent years. I think he is actually best on guest spots right now. I did enjoy some singles on R & G and liked Tha Last Meal CD a lot, though nothing he has recorded since Doggystyle has touched his early work...

Gangsta all the way...that pimp fly crap is for the birds...dont get me wrong I love the R&G album but lets just keep it gangsta....

Doggystyle ****s on anything that Snoop has released since then. **** that album ****s on almost any other rap album not in the top 10 hip hop albums of all time though. Its like trying to compare the stuff Nas puts out now to Illmatic. Just aint happenin, and I like Nas new *****. When you make that money you lose that hunger to be great. You know you have cracked the mold so its okay to be lazy with the pen. Many have fallen victim to this... 50 Cent, Nas, Snoop, Jay Z...etc Drop a CLASSIC album right out the gate, and dont meet those same expectations on the follow up. Now I'm not saying that their follow ups were bad, but in comparison to the the first album those guys dropped they were just average/decent joints.

Doggystyle is a classic hands down. I liked Doggystyle, The Doggfather and The Last Meal out of all the Snoop albums that he has dropped. So I guess Id have to say "Old School Snoop".

Without a doubt the old Snoop over this new wannabe pimp.

It's only his guest spots that are even half way decent these days. I downloaded r&g for a friend and briefly listened to it...then immediately deleted it. Snoop will never make anything that compares to Doggystyle.

definitely his old ****. Tha Last Meal was pretty good too but anything after that kinda sucked.
