If not what can i add? enadeus 05-23-2006, 10:49 PM I always do that. I try not to, its not good for the teath, and I don't really need to anymore, I can drink it without it. The problem with the sugar in the united states is that its 100% sugar, so its as bad for you as it gets when taken in large quantities. moy22487 05-23-2006, 10:50 PM so splenda and equal i take it are just as bad? enadeus 05-23-2006, 10:52 PM so splenda and equal i take it are just as bad? Well there not sugar are they? I don't know I dont use them. I usually just add 1-2 tablesppons of sugar. Depends how strong your teath are. moy22487 05-23-2006, 11:23 PM i guess ill just have to get use to the tea by its self to get 100% of the good stuff with sugar not taking away from it A_N_91 05-23-2006, 11:23 PM Tea, were talking about leafy drinks? Not coffee. Because Lipton makes some nice hot teas and theres also some flavored tea like blueberry or peaches. moy22487 05-23-2006, 11:25 PM im drinking TAZO's zen, witch is a green tea. JDizzle79 05-24-2006, 02:17 AM use honey...its actually good for you LoftyDog 05-24-2006, 04:37 AM Yeah, it's better to go with honey. Equal and stuff don't have any calories but you hear different things about how healthy they are for you. IMO I think its better to just stay away from them. Zamora 05-24-2006, 12:33 PM my teeth are fine and i have four sugars in my tea, coffee or hot chocolate. rocco1252 05-24-2006, 05:25 PM my teeth are fine and i have four sugars in my tea, coffee or hot chocolate. YOU SHOULD TRY AND CUT OUT ALL YOUR SUGAR INTAKE FROM TEA, COFFEE AND SO ON. SUGAR DOESNT HELP YOU IN THE LEAST WHEN YOUR IN TRAINING NOW IF YOUR NOT 100 PERCENT SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR TRAINING THEN SUGAR IS OK BUT I TAKE IT IF YOUR ASKING THIS QUESTION YOU WANT A STRAIGHT ANSWER AND THAT WOULD BE DRINK IT PLAIN OR LIKE LOFTY SAID DRINK IT WITH HONEY. enadeus 05-24-2006, 05:40 PM YOU SHOULD TRY AND CUT OUT ALL YOUR SUGAR INTAKE FROM TEA, COFFEE AND SO ON. Well you can't cut out sugar completely, get them naturally in fruits I guess. LoftyDog 05-24-2006, 10:35 PM Well you can't cut out sugar completely, get them naturally in fruits I guess. yeah but those are natural sugar not refined sugars (or processed, not sure what the term is), plus its not empty calories...deffinatly good nutritional value in fruits. But I was wondering that, actually, when people cut out sugar from there diet they don't eat fruit? Ukr_Alex 05-25-2006, 12:40 AM The question you have to ask yourself is...Can I eat only healthy foods? I mean, if you cut the sugar from the tea, will you cut the soda pop, and every other single thing from your diet that is not "good for you"? Unless you take it to the extent where you filter out every single meal in your diet and I dont see a point. Putting a tea spoon of sugar in your tea wont kill ya. I bet having McDs ones a month adds up to more harmful shit then a month worth of drinking tea with sugar. I say this because I tried that "eat only healthy" approach. 1) Its ****ing expensive 2) Its ****ing impossible It costs a fortune to eat those good brand chicken breasts every day. To hunt for the right bread. To drink only water and green unsugared tea. To make sure you have lots of fruit during the day. Besides being an expensive affair, you will always slip. After a long day of work you and your buddy go to KFC and all that work you have put into eating well is down the drain. My take is this. Simply eat well. Have 3 full proper meals a day and snack on some healthy stuff in between. Eat a bannana, boil some eggs, take a protein shake... Zamora 05-25-2006, 05:12 PM i have tried to not have that many susgars but it is also my only vice sugar wise. i am going to be taking my training seriously when i finish college which is next week and cutting sugar from my tea is one of them, ill try honey tho which sounds like a good idea boxer Of thE World 05-25-2006, 05:31 PM well i sqeeze an orange into my tea it sweetens it safe and natural wojewodztwo_pl 05-26-2006, 08:37 AM the worst thing u can take is equal or any of those artificial sweetners! if you are going to have sugar, then just have normal brown sugar (not white, because it is more processed than white). the more processed something is, the worse it is for your body. so equal is the worst, followed by white sugar, then comes brown sugar. you guys must be right about the health benefits of adding honey to tea instead of sugar, i will try it. grazie {BiOhAzArD} 05-26-2006, 09:55 PM use silver spoon it tastes like sugar but it is not sugar it is sweeter than sugar and it is 0 calories i use it in my tea 2 spoons i have not used real sugar since. vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
