When I was stationed in Korea, I worked at the United Nations Compound. We were next to the filipino's and they cooked all the time. Alot of it was fish and I dont eat fish, but the other stuff was good. I'm kinda picky about what I eat so I didnt ask alot of the time what it was as long as fish wasn't in it. They invited me to a few parties where they roasted pig though. That would prob what I miss the most is the roasted pig. I have tried balut, which really wasnt too bad. It was actually pretty good it just takes the courage to try it. The filipino's always tried to get me to try it and I always backed out. So one night when we were drinking they dared me to do it.

hey to bad I left when the pinoys were giving away points last night, Balut is really good though. Once you get over the fact that well you know. I think the first time it took me like 10-15 mins to take the first bite.

OK pareng Edgeworks, there are a few things first to get into Team Pinoy. First, you must get 100 posts before you get your sig. Once you get that, me, Chups, Kadyo, and Manny P must approve you. Then, you're in!

For Pinoys, I changed the requirements to 500 posts, so he's almost there. If you have 500 posts, you're pretty much in, unless you're a prick or a "sucka" :D

Sorry I haven't checked in in a while guys.

My fiancee left me.
She was originally talking with another guy.
Now she says she's leaving to figure out if she even wants to get married to me and she promises not to talk to the other guy.

She says she will be staying with her uncle who lives in Vegas.
She drove there (from Texas) with all her stuff and our dog.
She never wrote me an email to let me know she arrived.

I was serious about getting married & I love her so part of me's always going to be available to her.
Unfortunately though, I don't know if i can keep trying to convince her to come back- especially if she's not talking to me.
I think maybe it's time I moved on with my life.

FYI- I never did anything seriously wrong to cause her to go, I have just been a little depressed and stressed out for the past 10 months or so- from my old job and moving to a new state for my current job. We also had a lot of miscommunication.

I guess if you love something, let it go, if it comes back to you it's your's, if not, it never was.

The ball's in her court now. My true love is still out there if she decides not to come back.

I really just want to have fun for a while.

If and when I try to settle down again i just want it to be with someone who really loves me, someone who's not going to threaten to leave anytime things get tough, someone who actually respects me, someone who appreciates me, and someone who wants to spend time with me.

I joke about viet coz i know a viet girl that I'd probably work well with whenever I've finally dropped all this baggage (we have a lot more in common and understand each other better).
i joke about the japanese coz i grew up in japan, so japanese girls tend to make more sense to me.
