Just kidding man. That is a good question. Some personality at all would have helped Lewis. I don't think anyone would have warmed up to him if he had become a thug. Tyson had a lot fans before he went nuts, Lewis has always been kind of dry. As for Jones, I don't know why he doesn't get much respect for his accomplishments at 160. Not finishing his career in that division and the nature of his last two losses probably have a lot to do with it. Though it shouldn't imo.

the fans love a guy that can punch ..who comes in looking to knock you out in round one, every single fight. Thats what the fans PAY TO SEE, and why they even GO TO THE FIGHTS, to be a part of the presence of death. to a regular actor like jack nicholson, he is looking to see a KO. that's the bottom line. thats why david tua had so many fans for his first few fights, until people realized he wasn't all that. Tua wouldve been the next tyson if he hadnt ****ed up.

the casual fan does, the boxing fan i tend to disagree comes to see two men using their physical attributes and skill to beat the other.

It wouldn't be a matter of respect, it would be a matter if I liked him better or not. I would like Lennox better if he was a bit more ****y, or actually had some personality. Nonetheless, he's still an unbelievable fighter, hands down.
