I'd also favor Hagler by UD, there aren't many(I'd say there aren't any) fighters who could've stopped Hagler. And he was the better boxer.

Sugar Ray Robinson wasn't a natural middleweight and the man didnt have as good as a chin as Hagler.Sugar Ray Robinson padded whole career back ducking most of the top black fighters who challenged him.

His punching power was greater then any middleweight or Light Heavyweight, He probably has just as much strength as a decent heavyweight. I think that would worry hagler.

Thats true. Now that I think more on it, LaMotta was a large middleweight and many say he was a heavyweight trapped in a middleweight's body. Jake has a very good chance.

LaMotta was a heavy puncher, just watch the films. You can clearly see him hurting his opponents to the head and body but he lacked the snap and special timing needed to be a good knockout puncher. He was certainly not feather fisted or even a light puncher.

If he fought in today's relatively weak middleweight division, his KO percentage would be significantly higher.

Jake LaMotta would crowd Marvelous Marvin Hagler and be on him the whole night through. This would help Hagler win in my opinion. He was a great counter-puncher, and he liked his foes to come at him. LaMotta would be countered and outboxed to lose by wide decision. This fight would be a brutal war, and it would probably go the distance.

Wow, what a great fantasy fight. I think the Marvelous one would win a UD, although I suspect there is a great chance that both would be bleeding quite profusely at the end of their matchup. :)
