I've been trying to loose some weight in the past two monthes. Doing pretty well, drinking green tea. Running for an hour with a sweat suit each day. Anyone have any extra tips as far as food or exercise that could help me out.

Thanks

yeah i was gonna say if you've been running everyday with a sweat suit on for around a month and a half and you dont see results to want to ask for tips then your either eating to much or really need to start running for real lol

you can run in place 3 mins a few times a day and see automattic results within a week...so for you to run an hour a day and still need more help after 2 monthes is a problem

Begin counting calories. Start out at a certain number that you think is low enough to do the trick. Stay there for a week. If you don't lose weight, go 250 or 500 lower for a week. Eventually, you'll see results, and you'll know exactly how much you can eat every day and still lose weight.

i dont count them i just work out hard and i've noticed the harder i work the less i feel the need to eat so by spreading my workout throughout the day i eat less because i gotta have that empty stomech feeling while i work out ...you know no pressure

Have you considered weight loss supplements?

I am not talking about Hydroxycut. That kind of product is only designed to "speed" weight loss, and actually does more harm than good.

But your body needs fat, and when you are loosing fat at some point your body will try to hold on to it. This is the point where fat loss becomes difficult.

You can lower your body's need for fat by taking in alot of good fats.

EFA's. Essential Fatty Acids, like Omega 3's. They occur naturally in Salmon but unless you eat fish everyday you probably could benifit from taking them.

Also Sesamin. This is basically just sesame seeds but it lowers your body's fat requirement by alot.

This not only helps you loose fat, but when you go off your diet and have some pizza and beer it keeps you from gaining back the weight as fast as you normally would.

Also to get a fat loss benifit from green tea you have to drink about 10 cups a day.

OR....

You can take Green Tea Extract pills. 3 a day, one with each meal, and have the same effect as 10 cups.

shock your body......

run sprints as long as you can rest 30 seconds and do it again.do this 5 to 10 times after warming up with a 30 minute jog. eat the right food thats 75% of the result.do body weight exercises-push ups, pull ups- cruches-squats-lunges-dips etc....

Try swimming, it tones your body and is much better per mile than running, only down side is you might drown. Plus it is harder and takes longer per mile but it's pretty good.

Just eat a balanced meal, get rid of processed food, watch out for sugar, and salt intake, get rid of all white foods and change to whole grain (like Brown rice, wholegrain pasta, sweet potatoes instead of white).

A balanced meal of sufficent carbs and high in protein, on days you are not training you should lower carb intake. 4 to 6 well balanced meals, drink water.

Train hard with interval sprints, boxing, weights, running.

Also nuts and avacado are a good source of healthy fats.

long distance areobic running may help build a foundation for the legs

utilize your time better

anaerobic running is best for boxing

for instance if go to track and training for 4 round fights

warm up jog 1/2 mile

run 4 800's at about 1min 30 sec per lap= to 4 rounds

jog 1/2 mile cool down

interval training burns fat faster than long slow runs

of course don't do this and then go spar 2o minutes later

you'll feel like gumby
