Id give it to Leonard. I think he was the faster fighter, plus his movement is second to none.

Robinson was probably tougher, and would exchange punches with guys. He seemed although he was a boxer, he loved a tear up.

But Leonard was damn smart. Probably try to stay away from Robinson and out jab him.

Ray Leonard was a great fighter, and might even be just a little faster than was Sugar Ray Robinson. He moved very well and was a smart fighter.

I still believe that Robinson would win though. He was definitely the better boxer, he was stronger and he hit harder. His speed was at level with Leonard.

There was really nothing Robinson couldn't do in a boxing ring, and Leonards stick-and-run tactic would fail against him.

At welterweight, I see Leonard being figured out and schooled by Robinson to lose by wide decision.

Sugar Ray Robinson by UD.

its funny but ur right about that, but idk myst they did have the ray robinson ringside like a few months back and there u can see mucho of his fights. lenord might b faster than robinson but robinson was better with both hands than lenord was, lenord would have to pull an ali and run all night for a decision...otherwise its robinson, the original sugar ray, and u know what they say........things.

Robinson all the way. Leonard doesn't come close in any category. Boxing ability, power, defense etc. As good as Leonard was, he'd get KTFO.

robinson would win a UD. he had the speed to catch leonard, even with his defense, the skill to outbox him and if leonard wanted to dance it wouldnt work because robinson invented dancing.

i have seen a lot of both and leanoard was like a version of robinson with down syndrome. robinson by late ko or ud. every time.
