On this one...I have heard all of the negative discussions about Contender1 but I have to say I really really enjoyed that show. I cant wait for the new one and I am not sure if Sly is still involved. I dont know if Jackie Kallen is involved either, but for sure, Sugar Ray Leonard is.

From wha tI heard, Sly wasnt as involved in this one only because he was filming the new Rocky movie.

Sly is Exec Producer. He isn't on camera anymore. It cost too much money for the 1st one and they didn't get enough back, that's why it's been bought by ESPN and thus the costs have had to be cut i.e paying Sly to be on camera with his ugly mug :D

Sugar Ray is gonna be running the show solo.

I dunno if he exposed him, Brinkley kicked his ass all night minus one left to the ribcage.

And this series should be good, welterweights should be a bit more exciting and there are alot of actual contenders that I have heard of.
My only qualm is that there are no undefeated prospects.
