That's a good choice, if I don't say so myself. I remember the day I bought that album. Good stuff.
TheHoff! 05-12-2006, 05:37 PM I'd agree with Madvillain. IMO that was an instant classic...Total eclipse is dope too though but not as good.

neils7147933 05-12-2006, 05:53 PM At the risk of appearing poppish, I haven't heard an album in the millenium that I would give four stars/five mics to outside of the Marshall Mathers LP...
Smokin' 05-12-2006, 06:23 PM Blueprint
The Fix
Supreme Clientele
...one of those.
SecondRoundKO 05-13-2006, 01:45 AM I don't know if it was late 1999 or early 2000 but if it was early 2000 then Black On Both Sides.
If that came out in 1999 then it's Like Water For Chocolate. I wish Common and Dilla would have made another album together.

This is a weird choice, I know this isn't considered a great CD and I know most people don't like it, but I love this album. I'm not saying its the best album of from 2000-on, all I'm saying is I personally enjoy it the most. But other good albums from that time period are MM LP, Stillmatic, Blueprint, BE, AWOL, The Documentary, Late Registration and so on.

Minus the abundance of drug talk, this is one of my favorite cd's, very well produced, and Shyne showed that he's got some talent. "Bad Boyz" is THE ****. That beat is ****ing great.

BLOODSHED 05-13-2006, 05:33 PM It's nice... I like Grand Champ a lot off that album. But Ghostface needs to chill with that flow. At times it seems like he's yelling.

that's not even a song on that album you idiot

I thought the album was quite mediocre in fairness. Aside from the two Barrington Levy featured tracks, not much else stirred my interest. And shyne is a very average rapper at best.
Not having listened to the above mentioned Madvillainy yet, I'd have to say either The Blueprint or possibly Stillmatic. I also quite liked Gang Starr's The Ownerz.
