Also I need to get fighting and sparring gloves cause im not allowed to use the community gloves anymore because of a new policy so what gloves should I get for casual fighting/sparring, that will also be legal for amateur fights if I ever get there?

You should be sparring with 16oz gloves, hitting the bag with 14 or 16 oz gloves and use 10 oz gloves for your fights. So you would need at least 2 sets, ideally 3 sets. Everlast is the least expensive and most bang for your buck. If you don't mind spending a little more, Cleto Reyes are really good gloves. I can't open up the link you sent bc ebay is blocked at my job.

Put everything you do with your arms into practise for being less tense... if you get my drift.

I have a set of Everlast 16's, the hook-and-loop kind. They're really tight across my knuckles. I have big hands with big knuckles -- a lifetime of piano playing (I used to play recitals and competitions in my youth) and an adult job as a maintenance man have given me some serious paws.

My coach traded me a set of Ambers, which I'd never heard of, for my Everlasts, and the Ambers are a lot roomier. I still have one more pair of Everlasts that I slip on at home to shadowbox with -- I bought two pairs b/c they were on sale -- but I can barely fit my hands into the Everlasts when I'm wrapped up. I like the Ambers, they're actual leather and seem to be built well.

I'd go for Green or Yelow ones.
