I've been hearing a lot about this guy lately. He's 9-0 with 9 knockouts. Has anyone seen this guy fight or heard anything. Is he all I've been told he's cracked up to be?

I guess no one knows anything about him. Well if anyone sees him in action let me know if he is a true prospect.

He's from Roumania, he fights out of Montreal. Since yesterday he's 10-0 with 10 KO. He was suppose to get good opposition yesterday from Carl Handy... Yeah right... poor guy, he quit in round 4... longest fight from Bute so far.

He's boxrec.com #34 with only 10 fights.

He's tall, fast and he has steel in gloves! he's fighting Light Heavy now but I think he's more a super middle.

Jean Pascal yes... he's a good prospect, very strong guy.

Alcine is not bad but he's not has good as Bute.

My prediction (or my wish)... Bute KO Jeff Lacy in ~18 months ;-)

Ciao

Good to see some fighter from my hometown starting to come up.

Lucian Bute got to be the most impresive fighter i've seen live so far. He threw killer combos to Handy that afternoon in Quebec. The poor guy was looking like a moving punching bag. Bute is just the kind of guy boxing need, a crowd pleaser who comes in the ring to kill! His association with Eric Lucas will elevate him to the top.

Jean Pascal is the most talented boxer of all time coming out of montreal! He only have fought three times in the professionnal rank and the crowd is chanting is name every time. He move like Roy Jones and have incredible power in both hands! If he don't mess up, you're gonna hear a lot from him.

But the first to look for is Joachim Alcine
in the light middleweight division. J.C. Candelo ducked him recently and went to lost a decision to Sanchez. He would have got killed versus Alcine! After the destruction of Bojorquez he's now ready for anyone in the division!

Montreal is becoming more and more a boxing town!
