I've always thought Spinks is overratted. Zab should've won the 1st fight. Put Spinks in the ring with some top fighters in his division or a little above & he'll get KO'ed.

You guys are insane if you dont have him in the top 10. All you guys ever do is keep the same guys in the top 10 no matter how many times they lose. It almost seems like when guys lose they jump even higher in the rankings

Wow he backs down because he took one fight in between giving judah a rematch. How do you know it wasnt judah that needed more time so spinks took another fight. He gave him the rematch so thats all that matters. Judah is a very talented fighter whos never really lived up to expectation. It'll be a good fight between two slick southpaws but I'll have to go with spinks.

Spinks is a pure boxing fan's boxer. He's fast, he throws a lot punches, he doesn't get hit flush very often. He wins by outlanding his opponents, and he does it from start to finish in a round, unlike certain other former Welterweight Champs who are losing weight to get back in the division.

Judah is a good fighter, though I will never like him after his temper tantrum with Jay Nady after the duckwalk. He's everything that gives boxing a bad name, much like Tyson.

Spinks is not overrated, he's a skilled boxer, he's slick and has good d and technique, he's just not pleasing to some fans because he's not a big puncher - like Byrdy he has to win by dec. Spinks is a good welter champ, he outboxes most of the other guys in his div

Spinks is a good fighter, and I enjoy watching him, but he is a chris byrd.. Too much defense, too little offense. If he would've spent all the time learning good offensive stuff rather than defensive I think he'd be a better fighter. You know what they say,..."the best defense is a quality offense"

I agree completely. judah has skills that he often refuses to show; he's too busy putting on a one man show..the sad thing is usually he is the only one that's intertained. Of course..cause you make sense! :D Judah has what it takes to win against the boxer that spinks is..but it's the discipline that he's gonna need (and simply may not have!). I'll never understand why he insists on making such an ass of himself, and I'm not saying that to make his fans mad..it's the God's honest truth...I've never seen such a talented boxer act so damn stupid! I'm rooting for Spinks. Zab should not have flipped out on Nady. Especially after doing the chicken dance. That is the funniest thing I've seen in a fight I've seen live. I'm not a Judah hater, but that was just wrong.

I absoluterly don't think Spinks was overrated. I think many people din't give him much credit. He is not the type of guy to inspire legions of die hard fans. His style just doesn't do it for many people. But he is a great boxer. He never will be a boxer puncher though.

Nah Cory did extremely well. It looked like a fight that was waaaay too even. No guy was ****ing landing lol. I don't know how Judah even picked up the speed in the late rounds but I was hella impressed. Can't beleive he caught Cory while he was trying to slip. This kid is quick.

Understandable a lot of the scores are mixed and with good reason, it depends on how you was scoring it. Spinks got rounds, because he made Judah miss and showed some really tight defense and Judah got some rounds because of the aggressiveness he put on towards Spinks, Close but spreading away from Spinks before the fight went to a halt.

I know it was a stoppage victory for him but i swear that there`s fixes in boxing. Judah signed for the rematch and the way the promoters were hyping it it seemed to me that it was all set for a Judah win. Judah`s style is more crowd pleasing and it`ll sell more tickets, of course the powers to be wanted him to win, i just felt the whole fight stank because the result may have been pre-determined.

I dont usually get into the big, pre fight "show" but since it was Spinks I let it slide. I'd like to say he just didnt look 'right' or something..unfortunately, he did well enough in the early rounds (well, when he did something that is) but Judah just finally, finally decided to fight instead of act like an ass and I think that was the real difference. HAHHAAHHAAA :D :D You just can't beleive that Judah fought Spinks in St. Louis and beat him fair and square. You have no bad decision to complain about so you have to make stuff up with little evidence to try to stir up controversey. No wayyy he wanted to open up. Spinks couldn't land **** in 9 rounds, but at least Judah wasn't landing much either. But when Judah was turning up the juice, I saw Spinks get nervous lol. His eyes said it all.

During the clinching at first zab was just letting spinks sit and push him off but near the later rounds zab realized that he was catching spinks off guard because spinks was waiting for the ref to come in an break them up. That left hook that stunned spinks all came from spinks not protecting himself, zab just took a step back when they were clinching and landed that shot because spinks was relying on the ref to come break them up.

That guy rocked Spinks early in their fight & with Zab's power you get the KO. Spinks was a little more shell-shocked in this fight because of fighting in his hometown & the fact he knew Zab could really hurt him if he landed. Zab fought well & focused for the 1st time in a long time.

Zab did a great job of controlling the fight. Spinks should have kept jabbing, he was moving around well but not throwing enough punches. when he stopped jabbing, Judah ould get closer and closer, which is just what he did. by the middle of the fight Judah started clearly winning rounds on my scorecard, and if the fight had gone on, Spinks would be so behind he would have been forced to stand and trade with Judah to try and win the fight - he would have got knocked out later. i had a bad feeling about this fight as soon as Spinks got knocked down in the first fight - in the rematch it became only a matter of time until Zab made Spinks lean back

Thank you! Anybody with half a brain knows that a female can learn the sport just as well as a male. All it takes is some sense, dedication and a true love of the sport. I have all of those, and been a die hard fan for yr's. I've learned alot, but still learning every day. I'm not referring to any one person except the peeps that run this place. You have to look at it like this; out of all the people that post here, I AM the only one that is constantly having to put up with insults and bull**** remarks about me and my private life, JUST TO TALK BOXING! I'm used to it by now, but my point is, why should I have to get used to it in the first place? Sure, from time to time everybody takes some heat from somebody else, but with me its constant (thankfully only from the same people) I'm no cry baby and think I've shown I can hang with the best of them, but at times I couldnt feel less welcomed, since the mod's have no problem with these well known facts. I do too read a bunch of rascist hate post and people angrily calling out names cause the fans of a fighter dont want to hear their fighter is a o.k fighter or if i believe a fighter got a win in a bad decision, I too feel like damn i dont post here to call out names. i used to like complaining and bothering obnoxious fans, When you used to get grief about Jones, i remember i used to write down many topics about Roy Jones is the most overated fighter of all time even though he wasnt, i wrote that cause some fans got on my nerves, i remember me and the AsianSensation had a article up for 3 weks straight about Roy Jones was in Hospital,(this was after Tarver rematch where Roy lost in 2nd round)Me and the AsianSensation would hammer all Roy fans that posted in that thread, and we would come up with things like breaking news: Roy is now on life support due to a bad case of whiplash in the hospital. I dont exactly do that anymore.
