Hey I like Diaz too, his work rate is second to Nunn but he cant crack an egg...he fights the perfect style to have his head ripped off against either guy I mentioned.

I still wish he would cut 5 pounds and campaign as a lightweight...I think he let a possible PPV with Morales slip away...he should be screaming loud and clear for the winner of Barerra vs. Juarez (obviously hoping for MAB).

They way Diaz looked in that last fight, I give him the edge. That may be just me, but he took a lot of good shots from Cotto. A fast fighter is a serious threat, PBF made him look silly. No diss to Diego, but his last fight he has not looked like himself. Castillo embarrased him.

PBF is fast, but not the fastest in the game. I think Diaz's speed is comparable. If Diaz wants to get off the under-under card of a major bout, he will have to step up his comp. his age helps him too b/c he is soo young.

Corrales can take a punch very well, he did get dropped by PBF 5 times but he was dehydrated and really sucked too much weight for that fight at 130lbs, looked like Cotto is looking now at 140lbs. PBF also had really good power at 130lbs.

I think if they would've fought at 135lbs instead of 130lbs that diego would've still lost but I think he would've went the distance with PBF.

Corrales also hits 50x harder than Jose Cotto does and is quicker. There is no way that Juan would KO Chico. Juan has great work rate and stamina but he is just out classed versus Chico.

I agree with the previous post that it would be interesting to see him at 130lbs if he could make that which seems possible since he isnt really that toned up, but then again it might take away from his stamina and work rate which he needs.

Anyway the King of 135lbs is either Chico or Castillo (although there is no way that Castillo fights at 135lbs after Corrales vs Castillo 3).

you are high. see my thoughts are, if you are in a weight class, you should be open to fight anyone in that class. regardless if its a good match up for you or not. Especially if you are a champion taking on another champion.

Zab is faster than PBF, their fight proved it. Judah is quick and powerful but just makes too many small errors that seasoned fighers will pick up on. His worst is jumping backwards with his hands down. (ala Kostya).

Floyd's strength is his ability to adjust and time his punches. As in most of his fights, he gives away rd 1 maybe rd 2 and once he has your timing down. he picks you apart. not saying he isnt fast, he definately is.

Diaz is not as fast as Floyd. Diaz is a good fighter. An offensive fighter yea.. But if you are going to put him in the ring with Corrales i think Diaz won't win. (When i think any fighter is just one punch away from winning a fight) But if Diaz is going to fight coming in and throw punches i don't see him surviving. Any fighter against any fighter has a chance. You just have to be patient. Let your opponent show his weakspots. I say it like it's easy but hey it's true. The human jaw is not mean't to be touched!

if i was promoting juan diaz i would give him a couple years. he still is very young, he's in university, and he's a nice kid who cares about his family. heck, he's not even at his physical peak yet i wouldn't feed him to the big dogs - at least not yet.

also, diaz will always be a fighter that gets hit through his guard. he relies on a tight guard for his defence, not reflexes. he's a very offensive fighter with an amateur style that may or may not be suitable for the pro's. we shall see.
