I don't know how much competition it is going to have in this category.

The fight was not only dull but unskillfully fought as well.

When Raheem wasn't clinching like John Ruiz he was flopping on the canvas like an epilectic.

When Freitas wasn't swinging like a drunken sailor he was crying like a ten year old girl.

It was pitiful really, made far worse by the completely uninspired commentary by Lewis, Kellerman and Charles. Kellerman did a great job, the other two have to go. Or rather, Lennox should smoke before the show to loosen up. I don't think there is any hope for Fran Charles at all.

Dan Rafael of ESPN calls Raheem a lightweight "John Ruiz" for all the holding and grabbing he did this past weekend.

It just may be the worst fight of the year so far.A very boring
and sloppy fight. No matter who you thought won, both guys looked
like crap.

It wasn't that bad of a fight. The Castillo fight vs. Rolando Reyes was the most boring fight I have seen this year.

My friend told me that Raheem is banned from boxing on hbo now after that hugfest. So he is finished when it comes to big money fights.

My favorite part of the fight was Freitas constantly holding and hitting, hitting behind the head, holding Raheem's head downand popping him 3 or 4 times on top of it, etc, etc, etc, then looking at the ref and trying to get Raheem penalized every time there was incidental contact.
Personally, I thought Raheem did enough to win, but there wasn't much to choose from. I will admit that my opinion may be colored somwhat by the way that Freitas was cheating (no more than any other boxer)then whining to the ref the entire fight.

I thought Kellerman was the worst of the bunch that night. He has a real problem dating back to his ESPN days favoring the boxer over the puncher. It's inconcievable to me how he could have scored the fight so heavily in favor of Raheem, when Raheem was the instigator of 10,000 clinches. Let's all pray to the boxing gods that Raheem gets a perma-ban from telivised fights.
