To be honest, I'd have to go with Ouma. I don't think Hopkins can break him down like he did Tito and Oscar and he doesn't have the power to phase Ouma, either. Ouma's workrate would tire Hopkins and lead to either a late-round TKO or a UD. What do you guys think?

I went with a UD in favor of Ouma. I'm looking at the obvious things that make Ouma what he is, and this is Nard's worst nightmare.

You got a guy that's never been down once in his career(ouma) with double your punch output. and he punches accurately. If I were betting, I'd go with Ouma. If I were just watching the fight for fun, I'd root for B-Hop ..

edited: i was wrong about Ouma, he has been down

Hopkins would make Ouma look like an amateur and KO him in the mid-late rounds. Ouma leaves himself open and Hopkins would just counter his ass and bully him all night. It'd be a bad outcome for Ouma any way you look at it.

Ouma has no power and he has a suspect chin.
Hopkins will destroy him in 7 or 8..

he lost by tko in the 1st round at 147. I know he has improved much but it is what it is.
I like ouma alot too have chatted with him on more then one occasion. I actually think he wins a decision vs wright especially since wright is a light puncher.

Where do you get the suspect chin from? His TKO loss came in his first fight after being shot. Can you really blame the guy for losing? It was a 3 knockdown rule, too. Imagine if that had been applied to JMM when he fought Pac. I think JMM pulled that fight out, don't you? Ouma could've done the same. His chin is not suspect, his power is. But, he does throw high volume so it does take someone off their game.

I would say that Ouma has a great chin after he took those tremendous Jantuah shots that didn't even make him blink. And Jantuah had KO'd his last 11 opponents in a row. Suspect chin? I think not!

Beating Jantuah and ole Verno a couple times doesn't get you CLOSE to the same ballpark as Nard.

Thank goodness you're not betting on boxing you'd lose every nickel you ever had.
