Damn he actually talked the ref out of stopping the fight before being TKO'd.

Bryant finished Sikes off after he collapsed a few times.

Ref waived it.

Incrdible display of courage from Sikes after being thoroughly pummeled with shots.

Sikes displayed a lot of heart, he fell hard and still got up. Good fight. Espn has been putting on competitive fights. Good boxing show!

GODAMNIT I missed out on another good fight. On Wednesday I figured Cintron was just going to get beaten via lopsided decision and didn't bother to watch and again tonight I figured this fight would be awful and missed out on another barnburner.

Most times I watch ESPN it's lousy ****. When I choose to skip it all I hear is "ZOMFG!!11 FIGHT OF THE YEAR CANDIDATE!!@!"

Joe Mesi kind of outgrowing his shoes in my opinion.

dude, i think there were 5 KDS of sykes, this guy shouldnt have been allowed to go after the 4th.

bryant knocks sykes out with a flying left hand that leaves both of them on the canvas

Yeah that's true.

But I'm not sold on his comments. He's claiming that he and Rahman are the most marketable heavyweights....and they are really the only fight people would like to see.

I personally think that's ****ing stupid. I also don't think he has the right to claim as such....because he is on the verge of death if he eats big punches again.

If people want to see "Baby Joe" actually die in the boxing ring....that's fine with me.

To me....that's not marketable.

Sikes' corner told him to put his gaurd up and walk foward.

A.K.A. Winky Wright's shield effect. Only problem is....his level of toughness is nowhere near how big his heart is.

Wight may be the toughest fighter in boxing IMO and that style is only suited for him.

Mesi has BIG BALLS to step into the ring and continue fighting and I wish him well. So if he wants to continue to fight....I'll see him fight.

I seen Mesi in the amatures, I seen his qualify in advancing in the Olypic trials then I seen him beat, and then get ko'd by this one fighter -sorry I forget his name but he had a war with Cliff Etinee, memorable fight- in the Olympic trials and well the rest is history.

What im saying is this guy Mesi may have a few draw back but he dust himself off and gets up and reachs the top again. That credit to his will and courage.

Plus, the guy loves boxing and as obvious as it may seem, Mesi knows and accepts the concicunces. But, as he said, and remember he did say, that, he had many doctors test him on his condition and gave a diagnoses that he may continue to fight.
