View Full Version : What Really Did Happen To Wladimir Klitschko When He Faced Lamon Brewster?
Rick Reeno 02-02-2005, 12:25 AM Conspiracy theorists were on the prowl with the shocking upset of Wladimir Klitschko last year at the Mandalay Bay Event Center. For nearly five rounds Klitschko was handing Lamon Brewster a savage beating until suddenly Klitschko found himself with an empty tank. It was as if life itself had been snatched from the body of Klitschko. The 11 to 1 underdog Brewster picked up the WBO trinket to match the IBF charm held by Chris Byrd and John Ruiz' WBA title making Don King the majority stock holder in the Heavyweight division. Simple.

if only you were right... it would be so much easier.
even if Brewster did land a 'nice clean shot', it wouldn't have comotosed him like it did. They rushed out of there looking for answers afraid that WK might be in trouble...
have you ever seen another Klitschko loss? they don't leave, they stick around and try to get that belt back by way of rematch...
it's quite obvious it wasn't just another day at the farm...
dafrza3 02-02-2005, 07:01 PM Didnt they rush him out cause his blood sugar was high?
warped 02-02-2005, 07:16 PM This article seems like a lot of speculation with minimal factual evidence. He doesn't even really suggest a theory (and being a writer I don't blame him for not choosing sides).
Seems like this article was only really written to remind everyone of the controversy and possibly elicit a heated debate and resume the beating of the long-dead horse.
Didnt they rush him out cause his blood sugar was high?
If they knew that was the problem, something else could have been done about it.. I think they were unaware of the problem...
Floydmayweather 02-03-2005, 03:17 PM Something was defenitly wrong with him. He seemed like he was in a daze.
The1God 02-03-2005, 03:27 PM Reminded me a bit of Golata when he fought Lennox. Just lost it.

yea its called getting knocked the **** out!
Floydmayweather 02-03-2005, 03:41 PM Yeah i mean the before that.
dansweeney 02-03-2005, 03:44 PM if he continues to fight, it will happen again, sanders beat him up so bad he permanently altered wlad's ablility to take a punch
we all know how you feel sweeney and we all know how valid what you say is .. :D
No one, no matter who they are will look like that from being KO'd... once they can comprehend where they are, they can normally at least stand on their own will. WK was shot, anyone on this forum including you could have beaten him up at that point. Try getting in the ring after a different KO situation.. would you want to fight RJJ after the 10 count against Tarver?
.::|ULTIMATE|::. 02-04-2005, 02:40 AM Brewster landed an awesome punch to the body of Wlad during the beginning rounds that vissibly hurt and knocked the wind out of him. He didnt recover from it, and punched himself out.

Exactly. Though, I'm surprised that Brewster took the shots that he did and kept coming. Didn't know his chin was that good. Life is full of surprises, eh?
