I recently watched the movie, "Raging Bull" about the career of Jake LaMotta, played by Robert DiNero. I saw references to Jake LaMotta not having sex a week before his fights. Do boxers really do this? Why?
The only reason I could think of is to increase the testosterone levels in the body, but they replenish fully in 24 hours or something. Maybe its just superstition?
Anyways I thought it was interesting.
