The fight never happened, but should have.
Who would've won in a fight held around 91/93(Bowe's prime)?

Bowe threw his WBC belt in the garbage can rather than face a mandatory fight against Lewis. That says it all...

Sabbath is correct, Bowe was afraid. He was stopped by Lewis in the Olympic games with headgear on, he would probably be stopped without it.

Bowe was a lazy ****er by then. I don't think he would freeze against Lewis. He had a pretty good chance.

I'd give it to Lewis.

Well the simple logic would be that if Bowe avoided Lewis, there must have been a reason, and that reason was more than likely that he was scared of getting beat by Lewis, i think it must have been that right hand of Lewis' he was afraid of.

At the this point, Riddick Bowe was in his absolute prime and he was truly great for a brief period of time. His inside ability was nothing short of awesome, and he had some power to go along with that skill as well.

Lennox Lewis was a late bloomer, and didn't really hit his prime until a few years later.

I'm thinking a well-conditioned, focused, prime Bowe defeats Lennox Lewis in what would be a close fight.

Riddick Bowe by UD.

Prime vs prime, it would be the other way around.

i agree ....i have the olympic fight and Bowe was not KO'd the ref just stopped the fight because Bowe was not punching ...on top of it all i think Bowe's sister was murdered right before the fight so he was out of it mentally

I think Bowe takes Lewis in that time period, but beyond, it's a different story.

I would favor Lewis.I think Bowe would have been outboxed.

Whoever says Bowe would win is an idiot. Bowe would run like a little girl whenever Lewis' name was mentioned. No matter how good you are, if you're scared of your opponent, then you got no shot.
