Real boxing enthusiast will remember him. ODLH is a great boxer but as far as Gatti goes, he is a warrior in my opinion. Very exciting fighter and will always get paid because fans love his warrior style.

Oscar will remember him. How could he forget Mosley? It's like asking how could Morales forget Barrera? Actually he won't forget Trinidad and Hopkins either but a fighter who beat you twice? It's tattooed on his brain. I'm not even a Mosley fan and that's what's keeping me form calling Oscar a legend. He's a great boxer though.

Gatti lost to Oscar, who was bigger than he was, and Oscar lost to B-Hop, who was bigger than he was. How does losing to Oscar, who was criticized for even fighting him, make Gatti a bad fighter? Oscar would beat the **** out of PBF, and Gatti might too...

F**k off gatti hater..screw u mention one boxer with as much guts and heart as gatti...gatti time after time goes out there and gives 100% and sometimes he wins and sometimes he loses but you respect the guy for that. Oh yeah..Dlh patting nard for 6 rounds before gettin his ass handed and getting paid 30million to lie there on the floor was very exciting. Come on,this is boxing if you cant find a reasont o give gatti credit and respect a brawler who had been discipline and has turned into a boxer but still bring the excitment then you dont deserve to be a boxing fan. I hate morales but respect the mans skills you should bethe same...yes i am a gatti fan and its hard to make a point not to be,his excitment is an reachable and his power gives him a shot against anyone. If gatti would have lost a boring fight or beat a real bobody for those rounds (Mayweather!!!) then i can see why my this thread..but on these circumstances...scrw you...have a nice day tho :D

Whether or not you like Gatti or not you cannot deny that he has a huge heart, and he has brought us some great fights. He has trouble with real good boxers but he is a legend of sorts. He never backs down from a challenge and is a good fighter overall. I heard someone on another thread say its sad if he makes the hall of fame. I would say to him its sad that you cannot apperiate someone like Gatti. As for DLh he is not washed up, he moved up in weight and failed like 99% of others fighters would have. Peace

Come on guys where is this conversation about? Gatti may not be the best fighter around but gives his fans always 100% he's a blood and guts warrior, oscar is the better fighter of the 2, so what? come on guys both guys deserve respect especially gatti who always gives 100% unlike DLH examle: Sturm (lack of training)
altough DLH is the better fighter with the better career, and yes oscar beat the **** out of gatti, but DLH was way bigger than gatti.

cheech306 is correct, Gatti did not run, the only moments Gatti moved backwards was when backed behind because he was stunned.
