I give constructed criticism you seriously think I take up for Spinks all of the time and ride him like a fanboy hardly not. Spinks a good boxer with great footwork and no power...Zab did quite the number on him in St. Louis...We havent seen him in action for no reason....

I love technical fighters not brawlers.

as far as the hw division is concerned..Well, Brewster is up there but imo the most powerful one right now is still Samuel Peter, Wlad klitschko isn't that bad either but Samuel takes the cake.

(of all time = David Tua , Shavers & Foreman.)

Samuel Peter fights low opposition he couldnt knock out Wladimir I dont rate him as a hard hitter...Should we rate Shannon Briggs high then? Not hating but seriously any heavyweight can look good fighting C level fighters. The verdict is still out on Peter though

no joke. until Peter knocks out somebody we've heard of, he can't be taken seriously

That is the problem with somepeople you have to always take all your oppenet seriously or you end up like Zab Judah.

And would any boxer wanna take the chin out to take there chances for unheard or beigner person to test there power. Mayorga did it with Trinidad and cost him the fight.

Alway take everybody seriously!

Strongest puncher in the WelterWieght is not Margarito but Centron. I seen the Match up. But the disadvatage of Centron over Margarito is that Margarito could produce combaniton up and down. I am not saying Margarito is weak but he is the 2nd strongest IMO

Mayorga probably would have made it to the final bell if he hadn't let Trinidad hit him flush twice. That was ****in crazy.

Tyson was obviously the hardest hitter.

Tyson never even floored a world class fighter who came to fight him in good shape.

He surely mzst have hit hard enough to knock out all these b and c class opponents though. However most of his KOs were more a product of his speed and accuracy.

Tysons hitting power is the most overrated thing in boxing history.

You can show hitting power against lesser opponent. However you can't testify that you can use it in a more competitive situation,

Thats not necessarily true. The lower quality guys with 10 losses and a lot of them by KO cant make you justified as a heavy hitter. However, I do believe Peters power is questionable considering he fought one of the top 5 heavies out their who also has the worst chin and couldnt take him out. Their is no doubt that Peter probably packs a heavy punch hell any man over 200+ can punch like a bull to some extent. But thats all Peter clearly has is his little bit of power and hardly any skill. If you cant take out Wladimir who has a glass chin and you are considered by many to be this great KO artist since Tyson than clearly you do not stand up to your moniker. Peter is clearly a poor mans Tyson with decent promotion.

Who's he knocking out? Seriously Wlad has boxing skills I wouldnt say he is the hardest puncher...Hell none of them really are they will knock out B/C level fighters but cant knock out a top 10 guy for the life of them and the only one to do so was Lamon...

I dont doubt Wlad hits hard but none of them seem to punch spectacular so any guess is as good as anyone elses you know?

I think we can consider Tszyu pretty much retired, people...

He always has at least a 3 month preparation, is 37 in a few months, and doesn't appear to have any fights on the horizon...

I don't know man.

Teddy Reid is an absolute monster when it comes to punching power. That's been his staple as a fighter his entire career.

Haye has won all his fights by knockout, all 16. He's a fruit but he takes punching to a whole new level.

The main difference between Wladimir and b/c class hw is not the chin but their abilities to avoid getting hit clean. Would Peter have been able to catch Wladimir with the same frequency and the same relative ease he catches his lesser opponents he would have knocked him out.

Everytime he hit Wladimir with sth. of relevance the big Ukrainian was stunned or went to the canvas.

A good punch alone just doesn't make you a great fighter. Mainly because you have to have the skills to deliever this punch against opponents that can box and have defense. That's where Peter has problems.
