Also it improves your coordination between hands and feet, which is very important if you wanna land punches later on in sparring. boxer2k5 02-01-2005, 03:51 PM What skills does shadow boxing develop? it depends on how you do it it brings footwork helps your reflexes helps hone your skills helps with speed you should shadow box as if there was someone fighting you work on your footwork slip punches look in a mirror and see if you are throwing punches correct see if you are on balance threow combinations and if you are off balance or cant come back to your origional stance youa re doing somethign wrong shadow boxing allows you to see yourself in action without having to hit something or someone hit you it lets you see what you are doing right or wrong |
