I have Toney mobile enough to pull off the win. His defense and reasonable punching power will overcome the Hug and Tag scheme of Ruiz. I also feel Toney has the chin to weather the punches of Ruiz.

I think these guys look to be matched up pretty even, but I gotta go for Toney. He has tons of experience and he likes to fight inside so Ruiz's style might actually be good for him. Then again I've learned never to count out Ruiz so you never know. But what the hell, I'll take Toney by KO in 9.

toney could beat ruiz. he's a better inside fighter, and he could take ruiz's punches

I see it going the distance. I dont think Toney has the power to knock Ruiz even down.

Toney can batter Ruiz to a pulp by bob/weave tactics to avoid the holding and punish the slow hugger in return. But I don't see him KO ruiz, he lacks power IMO...

ruiz is just dirty

it seems like in every fight I've ever seen him in he finds a way to exploit, either he loses and starts throwing low shots, or loses and sets up his opponent to hit him low. I've seen him do it, and he does it like a pro. He'll inch up and almost stand on his toes when the blow gets delivered.. ****in guy.

as much as I hate Ruiz I give him respect for being in the division. To be top 20 in any division isn't something any punk can do. If you tried to crowd Ruiz with 4-5 people he'd probably stomp all your asses. this alone is worthy of respect~

I bet Ruiz just runs and hits the bag, by looking at his body I can tell off the top he's never done any type of explosive olympic lifting
