Are handwraps banned from a boxing match? Tommorow I have a bout and my coach said i have to wear bandages not wraps. Whys this? I went out and brought some crepe bandages and will do it with microporous tape, but is this right? Please i need help before tommorow so A.S.A.P! Thanks :boxing:

theres things that look like gauze that r used when your actually fighting and those can be used for cuts,craps and stuff like that so in other words its a bandage so thats probably what he meant

You are not allow to use the hook and loop type wraps in competition. Gauze is used to wrap the hands in competition.
