If the Mike Tyson of 2000 was around, do you think he would be champ?
In 2000 Mike Tyson had three fights against Julius Francis, Lou Savarese and Andrew Golota.
Tyson knocked down Julius Francis four times in about four minutes. TKO2
Some months later he defeated Savarese in 38 seconds.
Andrew Golota quit after the second round after he was knocked down in the first and punished badly.
What are your thoughts? :)

I don't think he would've dominated the whole division because Lennox was around. Other than him, there were few fighters that could've beat him. I can't think of any so Tyson had a very good chance to become champ at that time.
Contender.

I think hes talking about now 2006, I could see lamon giving him problems but he would probably hold a portion of the title.

He could have won a title off Holyfield or Ruiz, but with Lewis around, forget undisputed. No ****in way.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant if he was around today. Could he beat Rahman, Toney, Klitschko, Byrd, Valuev, Brewster, etc.?

I'd favor Wlad and Byrd to beat him, but Tyson over most of the rest of the top HW's.

i say he beats rahman and byrd... ruiz could give him trouble by holding and hitting kinda like holyfield did to mike ...wlad would beat him ..toney is not going to be able to take hits from mike like he did rahman but you never know with james..

I think he could still be a champ but he would really need a couch that pushes him.
