The heavyweight division may or many be looking up tonight. A press release was sent out stating that the World Boxing Association notified the camp of WBA heavyweight champion John Ruiz that James "Lights Out" Toney is the mandatory challenger for his title. Don King was ordered to begin negotiations with Toney’s promoter, Goosen Tutor, in order to reach an agreement to stage the bout. If an agreement is not reached within 20 days of the order (February 9, 2005), Ruiz-Toney will go to a purse bid. [details (http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=608)]

Toney will come in at his best and beat Ruiz. His reign is going to be over soon! ;)

I actually think this is a pretty damn even looking fight. Both guys seem to be close in size and they both fight inside. I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know who I hate more, Ruizy or Stoney. Maybe Toney will do us all a favor and knock both these mf-ers OUT!

Toney won't stand for Ruiz' clutching and grabbing. Please, Mr. Toney...PLEASE beat Ruiz and take his title and shut him up so we never, ever have to see him or Norman Stone again!
